When a friend or someone you know keeps talking about a particular restaurant, there must be something good about it that makes them keep going back for more.
Well, for me, in this case, it was my colleagues who kept going back to Pizza Uno for their food. I’ve heard of them before and I’ve actually tried them a year ago (or maybe more) when I ate at their Centrepoint branch (in Bandar Utama).
So, me and my colleagues decided to meet up again yesterday for another round of dinner. Place was decided instantly as well as time.
Finding this restaurant isn’t a problem if you know your way to Taipan, Subang Jaya, as it is located in between HSBC bank and OCBC bank. You might be able to miss it and for that reason, I took the picture above for better recognition.
My usual partners in crime. Having meal with them is just fun! I let them to decide on what to order as I’m pretty up for any Italian food…
Fettuccine Alla Carbonara (with beef bacon)
Spaghetti Aglio Olio
Margherita Pizza
There wasn’t any complaint about the food. The carbonara was good as there were ample amount of beef bacons. The sauce wasn’t overly creamy / cheesy. Though the Spaghetti Aglio Olio looked a lil plain (compare to other restaurants), but it was all good. Add some chili flakes and it’s good to go. The pizza was good as well as the amount of cheese used was just right. The crust was thin and crispy and the tomato-based sauce was alright.
Opening Hours
The bill came to about RM72. Judging by the quality of the food as well as the quiet and clean environment, I guess the price is reasonable. And honestly, I wouldn’t mind going back there again (and again and again like my colleagues) for dinner as Taipan is notoriously known for their hectic traffic and lack of parking space during day time.

Hi, you have a nice food blog there with good pictures. I hope you don’t mind that I took a picture from your blog and referring it to your blog website as the source of my carbonara spaghetti picture. I hope this is not considered plagiarism, I am quite new on this. :)
Bunny : Sure! As long as you credit it back to me. :)
