A quick warning:
For those who are using WordPress 2.7 and above, you are likely to face troubles in scheduling a post. Most of the time, ‘Missed Schedule’ will appear even though you have set the time correctly. Somehow and somewhere, WordPress has fucked up some codings (or something) in two of the files in their WordPress 2.7 package. So, I did a quick google and found a solution to fix this problem (or at least I’ve got mine fixed). Here’s the temporary solution:
- Download WordPress 2.6.5 ( from here) and extract it.
- In WordPress 2.6.5 folder, look for wp-cron.php and cron.php in the main folder and wp-includes folder respectively.
- Backup your site.
- Upload the said files to your server into their respective folders.
If this doesn’t work for you, I’m sorry I can’t help you either. I ain’t a techie guy. Hopefully, WordPress fix this really soon.
