Well… the name of the shop; Awfully Chocolate, says it all. It’s a place with simplistic design / layout that sells limited but awfully good desserts that are made of… well, chocolate! Unlike any other chocolate stores, this particular one started out as a cake shop but grew over the years to serve more than just chocolate cakes.
Their menu is pretty much simple and straightforward. To give an idea how simple the menu is, there’s only one type of ice cream; Dark Chocolate Ice Cream, sold by them.
Forget about Baskin Robbins and Haagen Daz as this is it. This is the one you should go for. Rich and full flavour, it’s probably the best dark chocolate ice cream I’ve ever tasted. Best of all, it’s surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it would be.
Now that I’ve tried their ice cream, I can’t wait to sample their awfully rich Super Stacked Chocolate Cake – six freaking layers of chocolate fudge in it!
