It was supposed to be a casual stroll on the first day of KLPF 2014 at Mid Valley Convention Centre. But little did I know that the first stop at Olympus booth proved to be a “fatal one… for my wallet” as I was fixated on the beauty of Olympus O-MD E-M10 (review can be found here). Coincidentally, it was the first camera I played with when I was at the booth and it was also the camera I left with on the third day of the camera fair. Yes… I’ve visited the fair for three days in a row because of one thing and one thing only.
I had Olympus PEN E-PL7 in mind all these while but due to its arrival date, I had to look for other options. And this arrived, right smack in the front of me.
What sealed the deal was the offer that was hard to resist. The original price was RM3,299 but on that day, it was sold for RM2,599 with bundles of goodies/accessories.
For RM2,599, the offer includes:-
- Olympus O-MD E-M10 Camera
- Twin lenses
- 8GB SD memory card
- Olympus Camera Grip ECG-1 (awesome stuff – a must for those who has this camera)
- Auto lens cap
- Camera bag
- Free mystery gift – original battery
- Another camera bag
All in all, with such deal, it was no brainer to think thrice about it. But, I’ve to admit that it took me quite a while to seriously consider…. to pick silver or black colour.
It was best deal. Ever!
Ever since I bought an iPhone 4S last year, I’ve been searching high and low for quality bumper that suits my preference. Some that I found were either too bulky or too thin while some were too cumbersome during installation / dismantling process. But all of that was history when I found this one – Graft Concepts Leverage – while I was at a shopping mall running some errands. Despite its hefty price tag, but not as crazy as this, the quality of the bumper is top notch!
The bumper is made of hard polycarbonate case with a latching mechanism to secure to the case firmly. There are two colours for this bumper; black colour (with matte finish) and white (with a smooth high gloss finish).
For obvious reason, I chose the black with matte finish (for both the bumper and the latch). What I like about this bumper is that there are no screws involved. It can be easily removed and installed with minimal effort. It looks great and wraps the phone tightly without effecting the phone’s network reception.
It has appropriate openings for all the ports, switches and earphone jack but I find a little bit difficult to press the volume buttons (especially the –ve one).
It comes with removable black plate which fits perfectly. The back plate is made from the same polycarbonate as the rest of the case and it fits under the main piece of the case comfortably. That said, I opted for Teksure Skin (Black Carbon Fibre) which I purchased from The Lucky Labs.
