Some sample shots taken with Canon Ixus 110 IS :
Verdict : At 12.1MP, the image quality is above average. But, having said that, it needs much post processing. Slight adjustments on saturation, contrast and (maybe) tone curve, the photos will turn out to be better than SOOC. As compact as it is, it fits perfectly in one’s pocket without any signs of bulging out. The built-in IS works flawlessly most of the time. But the battery life isn’t that great. 1.5 day of shooting is enough to drain the battery dry. For a compact camera, the LCD is brilliant. It is brighter and sharper compare to that of my Canon EOS 40D. The functions are easy to adjust and needs no rocket scientist to operate them. What attracts my attention about this camera is the wide angle capability as it enables me to take landscape photos effortlessly. It won’t be as good as prosumer or DSLR cameras but it is worth having this point-and-shoot camera.
